Welding Students 2021-2022
1st Annual Welding Competition
On April 8, 2022, we hosted the first annual welding competition at Missouri State University - West Plains. There were six schools in attendance and several of the students were a part of South Central Career Center and Piney River Technical Center, as well. The schools in attendance were Koshkonong High School, Houston High School, Willow Springs High School, Thayer High School, Summersville High School, and Licking High School. We thank all of the competitors for participating and hope to see them participating in our program soon. We would also like to thank the instructors that joined us. Also, thank you to everyone who helped to make this competitions possible and to the companies who donated prizes to the event.
Introductory Level
Canaan Miller, from Koshkonong High School, took first place in the introductory level of the first annual welding competition.
Casey Huff, from Licking High School, took second place in the introductory level of the first annual welding competition.
Dalton Nicholson, from Thayer High School, took third place in the introductory level of the first annual welding competition.

Intermediate Level
Thomas Morin, from Summersville High School, took first place in the intermediate level of the first annual welding competition.

Advanced Level
